One way to capture your viewer’s attention and add interest to your web site is to incorporate Flash animation in your web pages.
Flash animations can provide interactivity with menu buttons and links for the viewer to click on. Video, audio, 3D animation, and an assortment of special effects can all be used to create lively and engaging animations.
It’s important to remember to keep Flash file sizes as small as possible and not get carried away with all the special effects possibilities, though. The sample animation above is only 147 kilobytes, not much larger than a lot of static image files. If Flash animations become too large and unwieldy they will slow page load times to the point that your viewers will loose patience and click off the page not waiting for the full animation to load.
